James S. Lamoureaux (CEO and Founder) – Mr. Lamoureaux’s experience and network in the energy industry globally has enabled the creation of an international team of experts in multiple specialties, such as gasification, catalytic synthesis, refining, downstream products, fuels, chemicals and CO2. Mr. Lamoureaux has been involved in a number of entrepreneurial endeavors focusing on technology development and commercialization including low-carbon gasification of coal in a transport bed reactor.
Dr. Theo Fleisch – Dr. Fleisch is an internationally recognized expert in the midstream natural gas business, especially in gas conversion to liquid fuels and chemicals with decades of executive experience in technology innovation, direction, management and commercialization for both Amoco and BP. He was one of 5 “distinguished advisors” to the board of BP and is one of the thought leaders in the international flare gas reduction project by the World Bank.
Gen. Richard L. Lawson, USAF (Ret.) – Gen Lawson retired from the United States Air Force after a distinguished career spanning four decades. He achieved a four-star rank, received 22 military awards and decorations, and served in the White House as the Military Assistant to President Gerald R. Ford. In his final military assignment, he served as the deputy commander in chief of the U.S. European Command. With a degree in chemical engineering and deep interest in alternative fuels including coal gasification, Gen Lawson later served as president and CEO of the National Mining Association for 14 years. He continues to serve as vice chairman of the International Committee on Coal Research, on the board of directors of the U.S. Energy Association, and as vice chairman of the Atlantic Council with an emphasis on energy and environment and Asia. General Lawson has traveled extensively in China and India working with government officials and representatives on energy, transportation and environmental policy.
Todd Leonard – Mr. Leonard has worked with a variety of companies, ranging from startups to multi-million dollar companies focusing on cleantech, biofuel, biomass energy, renewable energy and medical device companies in business development and senior level management roles. He has successfully obtained DOE and SBIR Grants on behalf of corporate clients, raised over $50,000,000 in equity and negotiated over $100,000,000 in licensing fees for the various companies. He has assisted in taking two companies public. Most recently he was the Director of Business Development for Corval Group, an international industrial construction company. Prior to Corval Group, he was President of ProUroCare, Vice President of Medi-Ject, Special Expert Consultant-Technology Transfer to the US Justice Department in Washington DC and Executive Vice President of Medimorphics, Inc. Mr. Leonard graduated from the University of St Thomas, St. Paul MN and has completed course work for the Minnesota Executive Program – Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota and a Technology Transfer Internship at Harvard University.
